Cattie and I finally agreed on a book, and we also agreed that she was going to cook first. It was easy to decide since she was off the following day. She picked Sloppy Joes, something she'd never made and she had some ground beef already.
Blast off with our cooking challenge! Hopefully these 250 recipes in the book got us motivated to cook, learn some techniques, and pay attention to healthier habits. What was exciting for me was of those often-ignored recipes, like most dips or time consuming pieces, will eventually be tackled by one of us. Then we could finally say, yeah, we cooked it.
