I ate a late breakfast and we were going to a cook a great big dinner. So midday came along and while I wasn't hungry, I wanted to snack on something. It was easy to go through a drive through or stop by for a pupusa, but I remembered I was counting calories and decided to make a smoothie instead.
There are soooo many smoothie recipes out there, and they all seemed so versatile that you could practically throw in anything in the blender and call it a smoothie. Essentially that was what I did and came up with this one.
Note: I'm sure this seems similar to many other recipes, but this was what we had in the fridge and it worked.
Blend all ingredients in the blender, putting in almond milk last, until well blended. 2 servings.
