MINI MEAT LOAVES

I have made this dish a few times, and it is simple enough for any beginners. The ingredients are very basic, and so are the instructions. Sorry no photos, but will add them when I make this again. The recipe comes from Cooking Light.

GATHER:

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1lb ground sirloin
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray

MAKE:

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Combine ketchup and mustard, stirring well with a whisk. Reserve 2 1/2 tbsp ketchup mixture. Combine remaining ketchup mixture, beef, and the remaining ingredients except cooking spray in a large bowl, stirring to combine. 
  3. Divide beef mixture into 4 equal portions. Place loaves in pan coated with cooking spray. Spread about 2 tsp reserved ketchup mixture evenly over each loaf. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes or until done.
