The Neelys' BBQ Sauce
Making BBQ sauce at home? But isn't it so much easier to get a bottle from the store?
Yes, but then I would have had to change and look decent for the public, find my keys, find my purse, and drive to the store. Even then, I would have to stare at the hundreds of options and pay. So from pure laziness (again), I searched for homemade BBQ sauce with ingredients I already had. Most of them asked for molasses, in which I did not have, when I came upon this recipe from the Neelys. From The Food Network fame, the duo came up with such a delicious homemade recipe for bbq sauce. There's really no gimmick to this, nothing too crazy, but just some good homemade yumminess. The sauce, on a side note, takes a while to make, however. This yields 3 1/2 cup.
