I hosted my first cooking party and while we started with a small group, I realized it HAD to be a small group. If not, things would get too hectic and we would have had too much food. Believe me, too much food should never be a problem, but I wanted to enjoy all the dishes fully. Can't complain, though!
The first theme was bananas, and great ideas and plates sprung up in our little gathering. The dishes served were Bananut Nut Bread, Banana Orange Twist (drink), Homemade Banana Ice Cream, Banana Caramel Cheesecake, and Banana Caramel Cookie Pizza.
I made the drink (Banana Orange Twist), and had every intention to make the Baked Cinnamon-Sugar Banana Donut Holes, but did not get around to it. I was too excited that I wanted to make a few things, only to realize that I wouldn't have time. So one recipe for the next party for each person was the perfect option. Anyway, I will post all the recipes soon, but here are some great pictures.
So thanks to the banana-centric cooks that came out and made such delicious desserts!
