Our sixth cooking party's theme was olive oil, and yummy goodness olive oil it was! Our friend Sarah picked the main ingredient, and it was fun to see and taste such delicious dishes with something so versatile as olive oil. True to form, most of us did not remember to bring the recipes, so I will post them as soon as I get them.
Sarah made chicken alfredo with torcetti pasta, a curvy tube-like pasta that was a nice change to a classic dish, and I was going to bug her over and over for the recipe, because it was great. Other dishes were Spicy Herby Olive Oil Dip with bread, roasted potatoes with bacon, salad with dressing, Orange Olive Oil cupcake (so yummy!), and Lemon Olive Oil Cake.
