Zesty Cinnamon Chicken

Our friend B brought in this recipe and made a delicious and moist chicken dish. The seasonings were not overpowering, and this was a simple recipe. As part of our Cooking with Cinnamon party, these Zesty Cinnamon Chicken pieces were made on the grill plan instead of the listed bake-in-oven instructions. Either way you make them, it was quite yummy. 4 servings.

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 13x9 pan. 
  2. Season chicken breasts with the rest of the ingredients. Put breasts in pan. 
  3. Bake for 30 minutes or until clear juices are flowing.
